Stay at home mom and the late night drive part three

Tess was in her cell. Nothing made sense. The day had been prety normal. She and bead went to bef.she had no plans for a light night strowl.she was not known to sleep walk. Why was she in that car.
She heard some one coming.it was not the gourd but detective Morgan. "So soon!"Tess said.
"I am hear to spring you. "Detcective Morgan said."legally or illegally?"she asked.he opened the. Bar doors. "Legaly. I like you but not enough to blow my pension on. No offense. "The detective said.
"None taken. Is this of your odd jokes or am I relay free to go?"Tess asked. "Your free to go!"Morgan answered."I thought I was facing multiple charges including vahiculer manslaughter and hit and run. "She commented.
"You did not run over the man. It was not your car. You tested negative for alcohol. Although you were drugged."Morgan said.
"What kind of drug?" she asked. "It was created by the Soviets during the cold war. It has made it to the streets as a drug." Morgan said.
"I was drugged?"she asked. "Yes. You were outminute"The detective said. "Your sure I did not run over that man?"she asked. "Certain of it. "The detective answered.
Tess was able to change back into the cloths she wore when she was arrested. She saw her husband.she ran over and gave him s great big hug.
"Look I understand you probably want to go home and hang out With your kids. I really need to ask you a few questions. Brad can stay with you."Morgan said.
"Ok. Ask away detective. " Tess told the directive. "Thank you. Alright. Can you tell me about the day before your excursion. "The directive said.
"Well it was a normal day. I woke up when brad did. I made him breakfast and laid out his cloths for him. He left for work. " she said.
"I made breakfast for the kids.I nursed the baby. I helped the kids get set up for there home school. Then I had an unexpected visitor. " she said.
There was a knock at the door. Tess opened the door. It was her friend April.
"What is her full name?"the detective asked."April crane Dallas.I went to college with her. As far I knew she was living in indiana. Hear she was. "Tess said.
"April ? Its has been forever.how are you ?"Tess asked. "Doing good. I am on my way to a ladies retreet at green haven Baptist church. I figured I would stop by "she said.
"I an glad your hear.come on in. I have coffee on. Do you stil like cream and sugar. " Tess asked
"You know it. "April said. "How is Donald and the kids?" tes asked.she seemed skidish about the questions. "Good! You had another baby?" April said. "Yes ."tes said.
April seemed to change.she was calm when she arrived.something had changed."we chatted. Caught up on old times then she hit the road."Tess said.
"What time did she leave?"Morgan asked. "10:30!" he said. "Your sure?"he said. "Yes I am sure. I checked the time out of curiosity. "Could she have slipped the drug in your coffee?"Morgan asked."Yes I gues she could but she is one of my closest friends. "She said.
"What is the first rule of detective work?"he asked. "Never assume anything. "She said. " right. My second rule is always check a donut store if You pass by it. Something could have happened. If it checks out you can buy something. Don't want to waste a trip."the detective said.
"Very different from my rule two"she said. "Ok. After your friend left!"Morgan asked. "I nursed the baby. Checked with my kids on there schooling. Made lunch . had lunch With my kids. They went back to sxhol work. I did some work in my office. In the afternoon we had two man from a religious group .they did not give me anything. I don't accept there literature. I did some more work. Got ready for super then brad came home. We had family time put the kids to bed. We went to bed. Next thing I knew I was in a cell. " she said.
"The only person that could have slipped you the drug was  April. I a prety sure it was not the religious door to door solicitor.I am ruling out your kids and brad."the directive said. "Thank you.I appreciate that. "Brad said.
"I can't believe that she would do that. She is not like that. We were best friends at college. It can't be her."she said.
"I understand where your coming from but I am convinced that she had to 've involved.you said she was on her way to a bible conference."Morgan said.
"We are going to try to speak to you.right not we are just want to talk to her. ""Morgan said .
"Do toy think the drugging is connected to the hit and run?"she asked. "I don't know it does not appear that way but rule one. "The detective said.
After a while,the graves were permitted to leave. "Tessa bear I did not want to say anything in front of Morgan but who is this April? You have never mentioned her before."brad said.
"B what are you talking about? " she asked. "Tessi I have never heard about April. "He said. "She was my roommate at college during my freshman year. She was at out at our wedding. "She said.
"Tessi your roommate in your freshman year was amy Gorman. I have never heard of April morgen. " he said. "I have memories of her. Wait a minute! What's going on ?"she asked.
He took her to a hospital with a friend was a doctor. The friend was an expert on military uses for nocotics. She was given several test."
"Well your cat scan came out fine. Everything is fine.there are stil traces of the drug nicknamed control in your system. The drug makes you highly suggestive. The lady in questione was probably well trained in coercion activity. My guess she is x military. Did she seam to be American?"Dr.Warner asked.
"Yea she had a mid western accent.she sounded like a native speaker. "Tess said."This is not as unheard of as you might think. I know of many cases where people were given life stories and believed them.it's scary ."Warner said.
"So how did April do it?"brad asked."the drug opens up a person to suggestion. I am guessing that the women you call April was trained in this. She gave you a lot of detail.she painted a picture. Your brain responded to the sugestion by fooling itself. Her picture had taken hold. You now believe it. "The Dr said.
They walked out of the hospital hand in hand. "Your real right? I really married you and have kids?"she said."no Tessi I am totally a figment of your imagination. "He said. "I wish your snoring was. "She said "I don't snore. "He said.
"That's something I would like to forgot. "She said. "Its sounds prety odd. I know this must be hard. I can't imagine trying to sort out what's real and what's not. I'm hear for you."he said. "You always have been. At least that how I remember it. "She said. "Oh Tess you can make me smile even in the hardest of situation . "he said.
They went home.she changed and they Sat on the couch.she held her baby.she watched the other kids play. She watched tv.
"We have learned that the victim if a hit and run two days ago has been identified as 45 year old Palestinian naturalized American citizen marwarn coreya . he moved to the United states in 1997. He was from a Palestinian Christian community. He attended a church made up of mostly middle eastern Christians. " the reporter Jessica Armstrong said.
"Wait I did a background check on that church. It came out of no where. The church seemed to keen more towards salvation by works not Grace alone.a kind of independent orthodox church. The church supported a palistinien sate and was a bit anti Semitic.it had no ties to terrorism. The group is not a cult it's just not mainstream Christianity. "She said.
"Oh no please don't tell me your going to end up in the Palestinian authority."he said.
"Your mom warned you about me. "Tess said. "She did" he said. "You should have listened to her. "Tess said. "Nah! What's the fun in that?"he said. He had his arm around her. She leaned her head on his shoulder.
Then the phone rang. She answered. It. It was detective Morgan. April never went to the church. They had no idea who she was. No one matching her description was there. They had no way to find her. The case appeared to be going cold.

Blind date part13

Matt was going to preach that Sunday night. He decided to on God's love for us. He was really excited to preach on it. The writing was just as encouraging as preaching it.
They decided to do a study date. Basicaly They hung out in the living room of his parents house. They just studied. They bearly spoke.
She was writing a paper. He was working on his surmon. She wore a green t shirt ,denim skirt and was barefoot. He occasionally asked her a Greek or Hebrew word.she almost always knew it. She asked him his fundmentilist interpretation.
"Jill says we are the weirdest couple. "She said. "I am fine being weird. "He said. She laughed.
They had studied for three and a half hours without saying a word to each other. "Mom says dinner will be ready in fithteen minutes. Oh mom says that your staying for dinner Abby."his sister Gracie said. "Ok thank your mom for me. "She told her.
He tried to get fithteen more minutes of studying. Abby took a peace of paper and made a paper airplane.she tried to hide it.s He fleew The plane into him. "Realy abb! This is study time!"he said. "We have studied for three and a half hours. We can pause for an air plane break. " she said.
"In that case!" she tried to send an air plane in her direction.her second plane collided with her. The two plag fell. "Missed me!"she said.
After dinner they sat on the steps. "You should come to the evening service on friday. Come and hear me preach. "He said. "Me at a fundy church. Won't I melt"? She asked. "No your not going to melt. You sure you won't came. "He asked.
"I don't know. I will think about it. No promises. " he told her. "Ok. I would love for you to come!"he told her.
On Sunday he started the service.he was sad that she was not there. He decided to start the service. Then he saw the door oppen. It Was Abby.he tried not  to smile too much . it was hard for him not to.
"We are told that God is love. It is part of his nature. He is one hundred percent love. His love does not cancell out his other attributes. "

"Sin has been described as missing the mark. It is like a bullseye.anything less then hiring the Mark is off. God is the mark. He is the slandered.anything that is off is contrary to his nature. Romans 3:23.sin is agents his nature. He cannot tolerate sin. The children of Israel were to be a special people. They were God's chosen people. He did not want them influenced by the sinful ways. This seams harsh.we are told in genesis 13 that God delayed Abraham fully setiling in because the sin of the amorites was not at the point of punishments . they were given time to repent but They did not."
"Though God allowed Israel to go into exile ,he set it for seventy years. After he slowed them to return.he could have been done with Israel. He had never rescinded his promise to Abraham. He has made it clear that he will not rescind that promise.  "

After the service he shock hands and greated people. The church people hoped that he would serve the Lord. During the last few years he started to get really involved in the church. He became his dad's right hand man. The church appreciated him. They felt he was called to be a pastor.
He hoped Abby would stay after.he feared She might sleek away. He wanted to talk to her.
After most everyone had left,he saw her. He hugged her. "You came?"he said. "I was always coming. I just wanted to surprise you. "She said. "I was hoping that you would come." he said.
He kissed her. That had not kissed sense the time a few days earlier. 'Are you supposed to do that?"she asked "probably not. "He said. They laughed. "By The way that time you kissed me. " she said. "Ok!" he said.
Later that night they Sat at the swings on the porch. "Is that how you see the lord? The way you described him tonight?"she asked.
"Yes absolutely. He is perfectly balanced but complete. He is love and holiness and justice. He is all those things. "He said.
"I have not seem him that way. I understand that he is love holly mercy I gues that I saw his holiness as a need for social justice.a need to feed the Hungary. There is more to it. "She said.
"There is. Feeding The Hungary is important. It is part of it. You cannot. Dismis that God is holly and any sin is an a front to his nature. Sin is a violation of who he is. It has to be covered."he said. "I get it now. It makes sense. " she said.

S.a.h.m and the late drive part two

Brad was worried.his beloved tessi was gone.it was not like her. She was bold but she would not just leave and the dead if night without telling him.if she had been kidnapped wouldn't he have known about it. He was a heavy sleeper but not that heavy. 
He called her cell phone. He got no answer. He kept trying. Nothing. He kept trying and someone answered.
"Who is this?"a gruf voice on the other end asked. "This is brad graves. I am trying to get a hold of my wife Tessa. Who is this?"he asked.
"This is sergeant Randy Philips with the northport police. Your wife is under arrest. She is being investigated for d.u.I, possibly hit and run and perhaps more."the sergeant said.
"Oh my!" he said. "She is being held at the county jail. "Phlips said. "I see. I assume she won't be released until a bail hearing. "He said. "She will probably appear before a judge tomorrow to fulfil the legal requirement but maybe not a formal arrangement. " the sergeant said.
None of this made any sense. Why did he not hear her leave. What was she doing out at this time of night. He could not believe she would just leave like that.
She had told him she would tone things down after the south Sudan incident. She promised to always keep him in the loop no matter what.she always did that. After a few years of marriage, why would she break it now?
He checked on the kids. They were all in bed. The baby was asleep. He could not sleep. He could not leave the kids.he did ,he did not want to load the kids into the car at this time of night. He did not want to worry his mother in law although he would tell her in the morning.
Even if he went to the lock up tonight there was nothing he could do. They might not see her tonight. He wanted to be with her.
Despite the recent excitement ,there life was mostly quiet and uneventful. They had a peaceful life. He had always been happy. Not perfect but happy. They were both sinners for sure. They we're in love. Now there happy life was threatened.he did not know how or why.
Officer downy arrived at Bradshaw street. He went behind the yellow tape. He went over to officer bell. "The was dead when we arrived. He Was killed by impact of the car. Apearent age is 50s. He had no identification. No wallet. He Seam to be a transient. " bell said.
"His only personal effect was a pamphlet in his pocket.it was titled "Jesus loves the Palestinians too " officer Cohn said.
"Your kidding right?" downy asked. Then officer Cohn showed him the paper. "If course your not. "Downy said. "The man seemed to be killed by a car but we won't know for sure unt the m.e's report. " officer bell said.
"This is not a well traveled road as this time if night. If there were witnesses it will be difficult finding them. " officer Cohn said.
"I have a suspect. I arrested a young lady for erratic driving.I suspected d.u.I but she passed the breathalyzer. She seemed to have no alholole in her. They took a drug sample just in case. " downy  said.
You think she was under the influence of something?"Cohn asked."she would have to be.she was out if it I was sure she was drunk. If not alcohol I'm thinking drug maybe. Weird the lady is super religious. You never can tell with people.we all have our breaking points!"downy said.
Tess was taken to the county jail .she was processed. She was finger printed.she had her mug schot taken.she was changed into a prison issue Orange two peace jumpsuit and given sandles.
She was taken to a holding cell.she fell asleep almost the minute she was left alone. She slept though the night.she woke up the next morning.
She woke up disoriented.  She had no idea where She was. Then she saw the bars door. She Was in prison.she had no idea how or why.
"Tess I never thought we wod meet like this!"detective Morgan said."what's going on?" she asked."you were driving erratically. The officer assumed you were drunk. You tested negative for alcohols. They did a urine test. A homeless man was killed. Hit and run. "Detective Greer said.
"I don't remember getting into the car. Brad and I had a quiet night. We went to bed. Next thing I know I wake up hear. "She declared.
"Is it possible you have a medical condition? You ever have seizures black outs?"Morgan asked.
" I had a check up two week ago. Everything was fine. I have never had any seizures or black out. " she said."I have never slept walk. "She said. "There is going to be s hearing but you probably won't be formerly arranged. You may be hear for a while. "Morgan said. 
She appeared in court. The judge ordered her held. Another hearing was scheduled in two days. She cod be arranged before then.
"Detective Morgan the tox screen is back. We found a drug in her system at the time of the arest "a doctor said."what kind of drug?"Greer asked.
"It was a drug designed by the Soviet union as a kind of truth syrum. It also leaves the person venerable to suggestion.  It has found it's way to the us. It has become a New ecstasy!"the doctor said.
"She was drugged .she might have been under the influence of this drug during the hit and run. " Greer said. "We can't prove her car was involved in the incident. We just assume it was. "Greer said.
"Is this a plot to discredet her? She exposed the south Sudan plot. There is plenty of evidence even if her credibility was impeached. "Morgan said.
"Her husband said she is working on smal cases. A patent infringement and a few others. "Greer said.
"The crime scene unit has determined that the car Was not involved in the hit and run." the captain said.
"The only thing she is guilty of is erratic driving witch is smal time. Somone did that to her. " Morgan said. "She needs to be released. "Greer said. "I will talk to the d.a. " the captain said. "Who drugged her and why?"Morgan asked.

Stay at hone mom and the late night drive.

It was in the middle of night. Officer Jacob Downey had just come on at ten a clock. He knew that it would be a long night. It usually was during the night shift in a smal town in a rural part of a mostly rural sate. He usually did not do much during the night shift especially during a week day.
So far the night had been very uneventful. Jake was unsure if he wanted to stay that way or he wanted excitement. He knew he probably would not after it happened .
He made sure He had plenty of coffee.he knew he would need it. He took a few sips. He got ready to take another run though the loop. Then a call came in.
"This is unit one." the officer said . "unit one we have reports of an erratic driver near Larson street. " the dispatcher said.
The driver acknowledged the call.the cop drove to Larsen street. The driver had no idea what was going on. The driver went to the street.
The  car went to the street. The car found the other car. "Unit one in pursuit" he said
He turned the flashing blue lights on.the car refused to yield. The car kept going. The cop car sped up .finally he got the uper hand. The car was trapped .the car rammed the car and ran the other way.
The officer was still able to drive the car. The cop car went after the other car. He decided to lightly ram the car.the car stoped.
The other cop car stoped. The cop got out of the car. The cop ran to the car. "Get out with your hands up!"the police officer insisted.
The driver did not comply.she seemed disoriented. He aimed the gun at her. He insisted she get out. She seemed really out of It. He suspected that she was drunk.
He took out handcuffs. He placed her hands behind her back. She had difficulty walking to the car. He helped her into the back of the car. He closed the door.
She was brought to the station. She was booked and processed. The officer went to his supervisor."have we identified the driver?"He asked. "That is the strange part. Her name is teresa graves. She is a vet. She is currently a private directive. She is a wife and mom.she gave birth to a daughter a few months ago. She recently cracked a case involving a charity being a front for weapons smuggling. "The night sergeant said.
"This is crazzy! "The officer said. "I know that.  "Philips !"the supervisor said. His phone has rang.he had a conversation then hung up.
"What is it?"the officer asked. "Officer bell found a hit and run victim."Philips said. "Was it near Larson?"he asked. "Bradshaw !"Philips said. "This is getting worse and worse. "Downey said. "It sure is!"the sergeant said.
Brad was sleeping. He woke up. He was very grogy. He was very confused at first.
He looked for tessi.she was not there.he go out of bed . He would usually call out her name. He did not want to wake up the kids.sometimes she read or worked on her lap too. He checked the living room and her office. She was not there.
He looked out the window. The car was gone. He dialed her number. No one answered. He had no idea what to do. Where was she? How would he find her. Was something wrong? He had no idea what to do. He felt powerless.
He called the police . he did not know what else to do. He was not sure when she left. Maybe they could find her. He could that they could.

Tes was an enigma in Manny ways.she was very girlie. She loved to ware dresses. She loved fashion.at the same time,s he was a bit of a Tom boy. She seemed to be both
A part of her could not believe that she was in south Sudan.another part of her was not surprised by this. Her life routinely took unexpected moves.it certently did today. 
She followed the militia that perused the warlords aided by arms merchant behind the relief group .the militia had there guns on standby. They ran to the enemy staging area.
The crates had been brought from the plane to the ground. There we're members of the arms dealers and the local warlords.
The enemy militia opened fire on the rival army. Tess ran to the battle. The two sides engaged the other.
Tess saw someone She recognized. "Donald Marburg , this hardly looks food and other humanitarian supplies "she said. "You canot bring peace with doctors ,nurses and clean watter. Every time we try to give aid we are attacked. We are sitting ducks. The only answer is to let the sides fight it out. Let one side take out the other or both sides be weak that they cannot fight any more. As long as the warlords want to fight. The comon people will always be caught in the middle. " Don said .
As they talked,the fighting continued. Tess had to dodge bullets and fired some as well. "You are making it worse. You making a disaster into a Tsunami. Your hurting the people."she said
"The poor always get caught in the criaa fire. They are pawns. They will always be. We cab mitigate it.escalation will bring peace eventually. You must rare it down to build it up again. The Phoenix rising from the ashes. We bring the ashes and the Phoenix."he said
More armies loyal to the militia that Tess was working with arrived. The arms merchants were hoping for secrecy. That had been blow up totally. There was no chance of that at this point.
"Why do this? Why make things worse. Your phropheting from calamity !"She said. "Everyone benefits from the calamity of others. Its the way of things. "He said."You make it worse. " Tess said.
The battle was going to the direction of those aligned with Tess. They had sealed the arms dealers and there  allies. They were trapped.
While the battle was televised on multiple formats on the web. News outlets around the world picked it up everyone was watching.
The arms dealers were paid soldiers of fortune,murcinaries.they had no real skin in the game. They started to flea.
Eventualy the warlords allied with the foreign companies surrendered. The weapons were sacured. "I spoke to some friends in the defense department. They are going to pick up the weapons. "Tess said. "No one is going to do business with the south Sudan relief group. The north will have eag on there face!"Simon said. "Good "She said.
"I hope so. "Tess said. "Hopfully we can get foreign agitators out. We can really help our people!" Simon said. "I will help in any way I can. When your country won independence I was routing for your country. I stil am. "Tess said. "One way or another we will make this country work. "Simon said. "I believe you will."she said.
"This is Jessica Armstrong with breaking news. The world is in shock.video footage has gone viral showing groups attached to a charity group selling weapons to factions in south Sudan. There are rumors that these groups were front for the north Sudan. While the justice department has launched an investigation. As gas congress. The United nations ,European union and other world agencies are investigating. The f.b.I has dispatched agent to south Sudan relief group headquarters. " the reporter said.
Tess returned to the sates.she learned that becca had been arrested.she decided to visit her. She waited in visitors area. Becca was dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit.she was shackled. " I am sorry. I made One bad chioce witch led to a thousand more. "She said
"Look I am not hear to judge you .I am not a prosecutor. The case as far as I am concerned is over. I am not hear as Teresa the directive but tesi your friend."she said.
"I will fully cooperate with the investigation. They are going to reach a plea. I will do some time. Will you visit me?"she asked. "Count on it. This need not be the end. You can turn this around. Thus can't be a bump in the road not a ledge. "She said. "I know that.  "Becca answered.
Tess came home. Tess hugged and kissed brad. They stoped and just embraced. She then hugged her kids and her baby.She gave moya a kiss from her pretend mom who although was wrong did love her. "How is ron?"Tess asked. "I have shown him every Bob Jones movie there is. He has made the best of it.I think he knows this is the last movies he will get to see for quite some time. "He said.
"Please promise me that you will slow down. No taking on terrorist. " brad said. "Dead I will stic to lost puppies for a while. List puppies in this zip code. " she promised. "Sounds good. " he said.
Ron was picked up by the police. Ron thanked them for there hospitality. Ron was going to talk to the authorities.he would probably get some kind of deal as well.
Tess called the real parents of moya. "Hi Mrs coulder?" Tess asked. "Yes!"Grace coulder said ."I'm tessi. I believe I have your daughter. We will need to do DNA test and go though hoops with the sate but she is healthy and safe." she said.
The coulder came as fast as they humanly get there. They ran out of the car. Gracie took moya from Tess and held her. Both parents cried. It was a happy ending.

Next door neighbor part six

Tess never expected to see Ron Grant in her house and at her table. Once brad determined that Ron was unarmed,tesi put on a bath robe and came down the stairs.she sat down.tess made coffe. They all started to drink cofe.
"Ok lets start at the begInning." tes said. "I served in the army.I was in Afghanistan. I was recruited to join what I was told was a non govermentle peace keeping force. I was told we were doing good.we were protecting aid workers. " Ron said.
"That was not what was happening?" brad asked. "No .the aid is a front.it was to get us in the country. As you suspected we were selling weapons to both sides of the factions in the cival war. " Ron said.
Tessi picked up moya and held her.she seemed to like her. "What was the goal of the weapons supply?"tess asked.
"The south Sudan relief fund was the brand child of the Sudanese government. We are a subsidiary of the Sudanese military. Our goal was to escalate the I fighting between the president and former vice president cause a full scale rival war. Then Sudan Invades on humanitarian grounds. "Why did She steal the baby?"tests asked. "The baby actually has nothing to do with the relief group scandal. Becka wanted to have kids. She could not find Mr right. She decided to kidnap a kid. My employees caught up with her and threatened to go to the police unless she helped us. "He' said.
"Where is she now?"tests said. "We were split up. The relief group are not happy with us. You see the killer was also a spy. Becca decided to double cross the group. The group ordered him to kill us. Becca killed him first. She said it was self defense. I don't know if it was or not. " he said.
"So they have infiltrated other churches and religious organizations?"yes asked. "Yes they have. They like control. "He said. "Why help a dictator reclaim territory?"brad asked. "Cream!"he said. "Cream?"brad asked. "It is an acronym. It memes cash rule a everything around me. "She said. "Look this weapons deal will happen in a couple days. "Are we going to turn him over to the police tessi?"he asked. "Not yet!"she said. "What do you mean not yet?"brad asked. "Hunnie if we tell the police they will want to question us,probably put us back into protective custody. " she said.
"I really get the inpreson that I am.not going to like us!"he said. "I need you to babysit him while I go to south Sudan. I am going to get evidence linking the group to  smuggling!"She said. "Tesa bear are you crazy?"he asked. "We have to expose this plot and we have to do it soon . if they get away with us,this could bring down the credibility of every institution we hold dear. "She said.
"What do I do with him?"he asked ."well I have lasagna in the fridge. There is several turkeys . you can have him watch out collection of on Jones movies.I would start with flame in the wind then the printing."she said ."this is a bad idea Tessa bear.
"Brad I have to stop this. We are all being used. Used for greed. The name of the Lord is about to be blasphemed

She got dressed. She book tickets on several air liners. She packed light. She went to the air port. She took several connecting flights. Finally she arrived in the south Sudan.
She was met by several man. " tests I am Simon. I am a representive of the free south sudden army. "He said.
"Did your contact tell you what I needed?"she asked. "Yes he did.you will have My full help. Welcome to south Sudan." he said.
They continued to walk. He motioned for everyone to be quiet. They heard noises. They saw a plane. She recognized It as one that supposed to be transporting relief supplies. There were crates of weapons. She took stil pictures and videos.she imietly uploaded them to face book you tube and other sources.
They made sure it got though.whatever happened,the evidence would be out there.
"You have your proof?"Simon asked. "I do. "She said. She knew that Simon and his men would be attacking the smugglers. She wished that Simon would not resort to violence. She knew it was inevetible.

Steps in both directions (Tim and Julia Nicole)

Julie had been reluctant to have dinner with Tim"s sister and her family. She was enjoying getting to know Melissa. She was excited that she was most likely going to be her sister in law. She was a nice person. She was really welcoming . she made her feel like part of the family. Over time. She forgot that she had been apprehensive.
The baby woke up. She asked if she could pick her up. Missy said that that was fine. Melissa got a call on her cell phone.it was her husband. Julie went into the living room.
She went over to Tim. "Look wha I have!" she said. "Hanah seams to Luke you?"he said. "The feeling is very mutual."Julie said. "I can tell. "He said.
"This Could us someday. "She said. "I think It will be Lord willing. Four maybe five years from now!"he said. "What? Four or five years?"she asked in a disbeving tone. "Too soon?"he asked . "I was thinking one year two?"she said.
"Really?that soon? We have not oficialy begun the courtship process. "He said. "I'm surprised. I figured you would be eiger  to start a family?"she said. "I am but I know it may be best to wait a bit. One can not rush too rapidly. "He said. "
"A courtship should not be too shorti agree but should not be long either. "She said. "I can agree with that. " he said.
Melissa came in. "How is Greg?"he asked . "doing good. He can't say where he is but he did say he is safe?"she said . "do you know where about he is in general?"Julie asked. "Last I knew his ship was in south America. "She said. "You must miss him?"Julie said. "I do.I should be able to see him this summer. " she said. "That's good. "Julie said.
"Hey hold on a minute!"Melissa said. "Oh no I know that tone!"Tim said. "What is it"?Julie asked. "She is getting out her camera. She has crashed instragram on more then one occasion. "Tim said.
She came back with her camera.she took a picture of Julie and the baby."ok I want a picture of you too."she said.they stood close to each other but Not too close. "Come on get closer!"she said . the two got closer. "Come on Tim! Put your arm around her. " melisa said. He timidly put his arm around her. She got close to him. They both smiled.
"Perfect!"she said. They smiled. She snapped the picture. "Awsome. I want a few more just to be sure!"she said. "Get used to it. This won't be the last. Wait til family pics. " he told her.
She was not sure he had ment to say it but he had included her in his family. She knew that he was allowing her more into his life and his heart. She knew that he wanted to let her in. She felt that he felt he had to slow down. She respected his wishes and him. It was hard. She wanted to drive right in. She knew that might not be best. She figured that it was somewhere in between both views.
Right now she just took in the moment. She wanted to enjoy it to the fullest. She had a feeling this would be one of those great memories. One that always be meaningful.
He started to relax. He had the heart of an accountant.everything he did
was compartmentalized and categorized. Everything he did was accounted for. He decided to stop. He decided to smel the roses. He realized how special she was and how special she was to him.
"Ok let's do a silly picture!"she said. He did rabbit ears and she hit him. They laughed. "I am taging both of you. "Melisa said. "Great thanks. This is going be on my phone!"she Said.
"You two are a really cute couple. "Melisa told them. "I think so!"Julie said. He blushed a little. He hated to be the center of attention. He was very private . she liked to force him out of his shell just a little bit.
After a while they decided to go. They figured melisa would want to put the boys to bed. "Thank you for inviting me!"Julie said. "My pleasure. We will do this again real soon. "Missy said. "Hopefully we can get together when your husband gets back. "Julie said. "That would be great"melisa said. Julie and missy hugged. Then they went to the porch. They went to the car.
"I had a really good time tonight.I really Like your sister. "She said. "I think she really likes you. " he told her. "So  ! Please tell me that we don't have to wait five years to be married. "She said. "Alright. One to two years is ok. Right now I think closer to two years but we will see. " he told her. "You gave me quite a heart attack. I might have done the same for you?"she remarked. "A little!" he said.
She smiled. "I figured. " she said.
She hugged him."good night !"he Said. "Good night !"she said. She got out of the car. He watched her walk up to the porch and then walk in. Then he road off.
She talked to her parents for a bit. She then checked her face book. It had got a bunch of likes and comments. Mostly from people from there church. She made the picture of them the photo on her phone's desk top. She stared at It for a bit. She smiled.
He got home and saw that half the sate had liked the picture. Julie's mom and grand morther liked the pic.he found that a bit uncomfortable. Then he saw a comment from his farther. "Who is this? Is there something you want to tell me?".
He laughed. He was really embarissed now. He did not want to comment on it. Luckily Melissa stepped into the fray. She said that this is his friend . she added that he will like her. "Thanks missy" he thought.
Tim and his farther always had a complex relationship. Tim's farther had been a bussunesman.  He brought a cleaning company he worked at. He n brought other cleaning companies and either company. Tim wanted to follow in his feathers footsteps.
He went to college with a major in business. During the Sumer he worked at one of  feathers company. Then he got saved. At first Christianity was An add on. Then it became more real. He became seriously about his faith.
Eventually he decided to start a smal accounting firm and later the  store. He vowed not to  make his business his God. He made his church his focus not his work. His farther believed that this would be a fad. It was not.
They lived in different states. They spoke somewhat frequently. He never mentioned Julie when he talked to him. This was a bit awkward for him.they were not terribly close now but not not close. It was complicated.
He decided to turn off face book. He did not want to deal with all of this right now. He decided to not think about that right now.
He laid low the rest of the night. He was not much of a fan of social media anyway. He used it to keep in touch with friends and family that lived out of sate. Both businesses had a face book page. He made sure it was well mantaned .it was not his thing. He said he saw social media as a necessary evil although more evil then necessary.
While he was avoiding face book, the comments exploded. He would not know about it until he checked it the next day.

Blind date part 9

Mat and Abby were the unlikely of couples. Matt was very conservative . he was a traditionalist. Abby was not liberal exactly but not an independent fundamentalist. The two decided to part ways. Well mat did. The two went in very separate directions.
Both attempted to date other people. It went badly for both. They decided to not attempt that again for a while.they decided to wait.wait for what they were not sure of but they were waiting never the less .
Abby was quite busy. She had cases and studies. She also was helping at a local church. She preached ,was involved in commities,church yard sales and other activities in the church and in the community.
Matt was buisy himself. He had classes. He also helped out his dad with pastoral duties and preaching. He found out he was going to be a big brother again.
She still thought about him. He did not think about her as much.at the same time,he did think about her on occasion.
"Ok Abby it's time to relax!"her roommate said. "I will but I am on  a role!"Abby wull.  "You said that three hours ago and three hours before that. " Jill remarked.
"I know . I Wil stop. Now!"she said.she had been sitting crosed legged . she got up. "I am getting a little Hungary now that I think of it!"she said. She was heading for the kitchen.she started to collapse. Jill headed to her.
"I'm ok!"Abby said. "You need to get to the hospital!"Jill told her. "I'm fine!"Abby responded. "You have two chooses.option one I drive you to the e.r option two I call. 911!"Jill told her. "Ok drive me. I don't want ride in an ambulance . "she said.Jill helped Abby into the car. They drove to the hospital.
Jill got an orderly to get a wheel chair for Abby. Abby was taken to the e.r.she was checked out.then she was admitted.
Jill waited in a waiting room . she had abbys cell phone.she looked though her contact list and found Matt. She dialed it.
Matt was mowing the lawn. He heard his phone gone off.he saw that it was Abby. He was surprised to hear from her. He pushed the button to answer.
"Hi abb what's up!"he said."hi Matt it's Jill abbys roommate."she said.
He got really scared. Was she ok? Did something happen to her? "Is abb ok?"he asked. "She was studying and she started to feel wobbly.she is at the hospital. I am waiting to hear back from the doctor.I thought you should know !" Jill said.
"Thank you for telling me ! I will be right over. I will get hear as soon as I can!"he told her. He. Immediately went to his car and drove to the hospital. He got as fast as he could within the traphic law of course.
He was directed to the floor He was in. Floods of fears went though her mind. He went though a fliry of diagnoses known of them good. He was a preacher not a doctor. He told himself to calm down. It might not be the worst case syinerio.he had to be positive. He had to be strong.
He found Jill. "Matt I just heard from the doctor. She is going to be fine. Apearently our little miss workaholic over did it and became dihydrated. She is being given fluids.she should be released tomorrow. They are keeping her for observation. "Jill said.
"They are sure it is just dehydration?"Matt asked. "Yes they are. They are not worried.I intend to keep a closer her on her hydration which she will love. "Jill said.
The elevator door opened, a man in a trench coat and suit came in. Matt did not recognize him but Jill did. Jill knew him from the seminary. It was the reverend Michael clendon.
"Is Abb ok?"clendon asked. Matt got relay uneesey when he used one of the pet naimes he used. So did Jill.
"She is fine. She just got a little dehydrated. "Jill told her. Matt noticed that Jill did not talk to clendon in quite the same way.
"Who are you?"clendon asked."I'm Matt cambel I am a friend of Abby. You are?"he asked.
  "I am the reverend Michael clendon. I was in seminary with Abigail. "He said. Matt was not too impresed with Mike. He senced that Jill was not either.
"I had never heard about you. You must not be too important in her life."clendon remarked. Matt did not say anything in response. "Wait I know who you are. Your the fundy that broke abbygail's heart!" mike said.
Jill was not pleased with clendon. Perhaps mike felt threatened by Matt.Matt had never seen the man in his life. He had no feelings for or against.  "That is probably true!"Matt admitted.Jill did not think that was fair.
Jill was hoping that Michael would leave. There was no sign that he was about to leave. She did not think that the two would get into a fist fight but one never knew.
Jill was allowed to come in to see Abby. Abby was hooked up to an I.v.she was clad in a hospital gowan."Jill no lecture!"Abby said. "That's no fun but ok. I figure the doctor and nurses have given you plenty of lectures. "Jill said. "They have. "Abby said.
"Just be more careful please. You gave me quite a scare. Lets not do that again!"Jill pleaded with her. "I will be more carefull. I promise. I will drink more water and stay hydrated. " Abby said.
"Oh you have visitors ! They are waiting in the lobby."Jill told her. "Who are they? "She asked. "The reverend Michael clendon. "Jill Told her. "He is hear? How did he find out?"Abby asked. "I have no idea. "Jill assured her. "Who is the other visitor ?"she asked. " it's Matt !" Jill answered her.
"Mats hear?'she asked. She was almost agitated."he is in the lobby.he and mike have an uneasy truce. Matt is verry easy going and laid back. He is not giving in to Mike's goading. "Jill said .
"How did he find out?"Abby asked."I called him. I figured he would want to know. He got hear prety quickly.I think he actually went the speed limit."Jill commented. "Yea he kinda has the opposite of a led foot. I think my 90 year old great grandmother drives faster then he does. " Abby said.
"They both want to see you. "Jill said. "Get Matt in hear. I don't want to think about mike right now. " she said.Jill smiled. "That is what I thought you say. I will be right back!"Jill said.
Matt was reading a boating magazine. " so you are a king James hyim singing Christian that wants women barefoot pregnant and silent in the church. " mike said.
"I do use the king James.I sing hyims. Technicaly you are correct but I don't ageee with the way you have constructed that statement. "Matt answered.
"The bible contains the word of God no doubt. Is every word inspired by God? I would say not necessarily. There are things that got added. Things that have become part of the Canon but may not be devinly inspired.some things reflect the culture of the day. Paul Grace alone apart from works was probably not according to the Lord . "he said.
The door opened, Jill came out. "Matt Abby is asking for you!"Jill said. "Is she asking to see me?"Michael asked."she has not yet!"Jill replied. 
Matt opened the door and went inside. "If your going to lecture me please don't I got an earful from Jill and the staf. "Abby said.
"I'm not going to lecture you."he said.he went over and gave her a great big hug. She did not let him go right away.
"I over did it Matty I tend to do that "she told her. "Well I am glad your ok.I hope you will be carefull. "He said."I will I promise . "she said. "Good! I won't lecture you any more . reverend Abby. "He said.
"Hear we go with the reverend Abby thing. How have you been?"she asked."good buisy but good.it's seems I am going to be a big brother again. "He said."congrats. What is this ?child number twenty?"she asked."funny no number eight." he said. "Ok my bad!"Abby said .
"So mike who is he?"Matt asked. "He was completing his docterite when i started. He is now ordained. He has a crush on me. "She said.
"I assume it is one sided"?he asked."very much so . well I did go on one date just to see if a relationship was doable but it is not. "She said."you went on a date ?"he asked."it was just for coffee. I was one on the rebound from you. "She said. "Oh! I went on one date myself.She was sweet but it went no where. "He said.
"I am glad you stoped by. It is good to see you. "She told him. "Its good to see you. Take it easy please."he said. "I will."she said.
He left the room.mat walked away.he went to his car and went home. He had some time before lunch. He went to his room. He did some thinking.
A week later Matt was working on a surmon that he would preach on Sunday. His phone went off.the caller I.d said that it was reverend Abby. He hoped That this is not a medical emergency. He hit the answer button.
"Hello!" Matt said. "My car broke down. I have no idea why. "Abby said."where are you?" he said. "I am in granger. "She said ."ok I am on my way. " he said.
He immediately jump in his car.he found her.he parked next to her. "I know I'm hopeless. " she said. "Its fine! I'm happy to help. "Matt said.
He was able to get started. He thought it was fixed. "Look I will follow you home. " he said. "Ok thanks. Will you always come to my rescue?"she asked. "Yea I will."he said.
"Good. I will try to not have it be too inconvenient of a time. "She said. "Oh ok! " he said."thank you for coming. I'm not usually like this. " she said ."I know that. "He said.
"So did mike finally see you ?"he asked."he was not going away. I decided to finally let him in. I could not get rid of them .Jill finally ran interference for me. " she said.
He followed her home. They made it home. "Thank you. "She said."no problem. " He said.
That night Abby took a break from work and focused on thinking. "Why don't you talk to him ?" Jill asked. "It won't do any good. There are just too many issues. Too many differences. We just can't work this out. "Abby told her.
"Are you sure? Go talk to him. See if you can work this out. "Jill said. "Alright I will go see him tomorrow. "She said.
She had no idea If this was a good idea or not but she going to see him the next day.

After the date (the party )

Tim and Nicky finally went on a date.the date went very well. They had been friends for a few years. They had a ten year age gap as well as very different life experiences. Such a union seemed unheard of. Right now they were in the early phase.
They got done the first date. Tim had a good time. He felt darned. He liked to process things. He never liked to from from one thing to another. Of course not long after getting home his phone rang.
Without even checking the caller I'd,he knew who it was. It was his sister Melissa.
"Hey missy!"he said. "How did it go?"she asked. "Uh good!"he answered. "That seemed hesistent."She said. "Oh no it went good. "He said. "Not great though ?"she asked in a follow up question. "No it we by fine. I am pleased with how it went!. "He said.
"There is something though "she said. "There might be a concern !"he said. "Ok what is it?"she asked. "The night went rely good. As we were leaving she took my hand,I was not sure physical contact is warranted at this early a juncture. Then she hugged me before we said our good nights. "He said.
"So the night went very good. Except she hugged you and held your hand
Did you tell her that ?"she asked. "No I did not."he said. "Now you have established a precedence. If you move away or recoil the next time ,she will think that you are mad or something. If you really don't think it is appropriate you need to  express that to her and soon. "She said.
"You think I am making a mount on out of a mole hill?"he asked. "From what I have heard right now yes. I suspect you think it might be a smaller issue then your making it!"she said.
"Perhaps. It is not a deal breaker. It is something that took me a back. "He said. She laughed. "Your so uptight!"she remarked. "No I'm not. "He said. "You really are. You have been for as long as I can remember. "She said.
"Its just awkward right now. I have not been on a date in quite a while. It a weird that she is the daughter of someone who is currently In my Sunday school class and who I serve with on the bored of trustries. "He said.
'I don't think this is a big concern.at least it does not need to be. "He told him."no your probably right."he said."remember she is young. You know she is a godly person.con the too harsh on her. We all live by Grace."she said. "I know that ."he said. "Good!"she answered.
When Nicky came home her while family was waiting in the living room. They all wanted a full report. She could not blame them,they were a close family. It made sense that they would be curious.
  "How did it go?"her younger sister asked. "It went very good!"she said. She tried not to smile too much.she found it hard to do so. "We can tell!"her younger brother said everyone laughed.
They noticed that she was beaming from ear to ear. She was normally fairly reserve. She was not an introvert by any means but not an extrovert. Today was different.
Her parents were supportive of the relationship. They knew she had a crush on her for a while. They saw it go from a crush to something more.
That night her parents talked about it."so what do you think about Nick and Tim?"her mom asked. "I am trying not to !"he said jokingly. She laughed. "I think this is a good thing. "He said. "I do too. We might be planing a wedding soon!"she said. "I am not ready to think about That !"he said. She laughed.
The next day was Sunday. Tim taught a class on bible survey course.He enjoyed it very much.he had designed the course consulting other material.
In the time between the Sunday school and the morning service,Tim looked for her farther. Bob Hilliard sold insurance. He was also an avid outdoorsman. 
Tim could not believe he was doing this.he felt like a teen. It was odd. He and Bob had worked together on the trustries and other commities. Bob even was under him in some cases.
He went over to him . "hi Bob!"Tim said."hi Tim!"bob said.
"Bob I wanted to talk to you. I would like to continue seing your daughter. I am not ready to formerly court her. I would like your permison to continue to pursue her. I do not want to step on your toes. I value your opinion. I hope I can have your blessing to continue. "Tim said.
"I figured that this was coming! I have known you for several years now. You are an important part of the church. I see no reason to object to you and her continuing to see each other. You have my blessing to continue. "He said.
"Thank you I appreciate that. I am determined to do right by your daughter and you with the lords help."Tim told Bob. "I know that. "Bob said.
While Bob hated the thought of his little girl growing up,he was supportive of her and Tim. He felt that God was bringing the two of them together. While he would perfer she not start dating until she turned  sixty ,he knew that That was probably not likely no should it be. It was a good thought. At least he thought so.
Tim then looked for Julie. He found her. She skilled when she saw him. "Hi "she said. They Sat together during the service. He knew that this would raise some eyebrow. They during together might be a topic of conversation and speculation by people in the church.
Tim was a fairly private person. He was not an introvert by any means but he liked his space. He kept some things private. He like to have boundries. This was unusual for him. It was a bit uncomfortable. He did not relish the thought of being the topic of conversation. This was a smal church in a smal town. It was only natural that people would talk. He stil was uncomfortable with it.
After church he walked her to her car.
She just kept smiling. He liked her smile. They said there good buys .
In the afternoon,she heard that he asked her farther for permission to seem her. "What did you tell him"?she asked. "I told him no ? "Her farther said jokingly. "Did you really?"she asked."no I wanted to say it in jest but I figured I had better not!"Bob said."he would probably have a heart attack."she said ."I did say yes."he said."I'm glad!"she said. " I have to know do you see this going beyond what it is now?"he asked."I really do !"she said.
He knew the answer to that question.for the most part He was ok with that. He was ok with it as he could be.the relationship was stil new.it was very much in it's infant stage. A lot could happen. It was hard to know what would happen next.

Case of the next door neighbor (part three)

Tess was a stay at home mom. Well for the most part.she ran a consulting firm. The firm mostly did back ground check usually for non prophets. This was a compromise with her husband.
Her husband was old fashioned. He wanted her to be a stay at home mom. She had been in the military and liked to work.
  There was a saying,tessi did not have to go looking for trouble,trouble found tessi. At the next house,a man tried to break in. A young wife was forced to open fire killing the man.
The police arrived almost immediately. The police and crime scene unit collected evidence. They interviewed witnesses.they canvases the neighborhood.
Detective Morgan and his partner detective Greer returned to the station. "Detectives good! We have identified the deceased would be home invader. "The chief said.
"Who is it?"Greer asked. "Micheal Aden Glover , age 29. He has been in and out of jail and probation . he is a petty criminal. Everything from shop lifting to pick poket,breaking and entering and the like. " the chief said .
"This might be a robbery gone bad."Greer said. "Never trust the obvious conclusion. Sometimes they lie. "Morgan said. "While that is quite a clinical view he has a point. I want you to go to Glover"s apartment. "The chief said.
The two detectives went to the apartment where Glover lived .the superintendent of the building opened the door.
The apartment had a kitchel,living room bed room and bathroom. The apartment was spartin. There was a glass table and a recliner. That was it. The place hardly felt lived in.
They looked around. All over the house was tons of pictures. The pictures were all of tess. There was teas at the playground,tess at the super market. Tess at church. The whole unit was a shrine dedicated to tess.
"Oh my!.Greer said. "We need to contact the chief now! The senior detective said.
  Tess answered the door. She recognized the man. It was Josh tester. Tester was an independent journalist. He studied charity and non prophets. "Come on in. Cofee?"she asked. He had coffee with cream and surger they Sat down.
"So what do you have on the Sudan relief fund?"she asked. "The charity itself is really good. All donations go to help the people of south Sudan."she said. "Why do I sense a but?"she asked.
"There seams to be an interlocking cooperate directorship with an arms company that provides security for the charity arm. Under the agreement in Copenhagen,benprossor cooperation can operate in south Sudan only to protect the relief efforts. I have documented evidence of benprossor corps in areas that the refuge relief centers were not. I can't prove it but I suspect that prosercorp is using the charity to justify it's presence in south Sudan. "He said.
"I assume they are selling to both sides in the conflict?"she asked. "That is what I suspect. "He said. "So the relief group does what it claims to do?"she asked. "As far as donations going to Sudanese people,they are great. I suspect it is a front !"he said.
"With everything I have seen,I have to advise the church to not support the s.s.r.f. I am going to ruffle some feathers . "she said.
"I don't deny the quandry your in. There are not Manny relief groups operating there. "He said.
"Do you know why they are doing this?"tess asked. "That I have not determined yet. It could be for a multitude of reasons. " tester said.
"I will study the documents you have given to me. I have some time before I have to give a report to the deacons but people are getting antsy. " she said.
"I gave you a list of people who have done investigative work on the group.please contact them !"he said."I will!"she said.
Sudenly outside several police cars arrived on the property. The two were startled. Detective Morgan and Greer went up the stairs.
They opened the door. "Hi detective!"tess said. "Who is this?"Morgan asked. "Josh tester ,he is an independent journalist and blogger. He is consulting with me on a case. "Tess said.
"Can we talk in private ?"Greer asked."ok!"tess said. Tess was really confused. Why were they hear. She went over to a corner with the two detectives. "We no longer think that this was a break in gone bad. We think he got the wrong house !"Morgan said. "We think that you were the target !"Greer said.
"Me?"she asked. "The descendent was stalking you. He had a shrine in your horror. Look we need to put you into protective custody."he said.
"Why? The man is dead. The threat is over is it not?"she asked. "I think so. I am not taking a chance. Until we are sure I want you protected. I want to know what we are feeling with. "Morgan declared.
While she was reluctant to go along with this,she knew she really did not have a choice. Her experience with law enforcement taught her not to challenge them on things like this. She was not totally sure that the detectives fear was unwarranted.
She would not admit it but she was not sure she was totally safe. She was not sure her family was safe. She decided not to fight it too much.
"Look we want to get you out of this house. Is there some place you can go a relative?"Greer asked. "My mom lives in the next town over. " she said. "Call her. See you can go there.we want to check the house for servalience devices explosives anything else." Morgan said .
"Alright! I suppose I have to tell my husband.he is going to freak out!"she declared. "We want to get him protection as well. "Greer said. "I figured. "She said. "Do you want us to tell him or do you want to tell him?"grer asked. "He will flip out either way!"she said.
"Look the guy with you. The blogger. You trust him?"Morgan asked. "I have known him for years. He is a good guy. Are you just being cacious?"she asked. "I never assume anything. "Morgan said.
She called her mom. She got pwrmison to stay at her house. She called her husband. They met at a church picnic. She was very girlie at least in civilian life. As s child her Barbie doles were spies who stoped Ken who was a Hamas sleeper cell member from killing a tedy bear who was the Israeli ambassador but any ways.
He did not tell her that she had been in the military. She had left before they met. She did not tell him until they had bean on a few dates. He hardly knew what a gun looked like. She suspected were he not a fundy,he would be a liberal anti gun activist. 
He wanted to be the bread winner.he was a c.p.a and made good money.he could provide for her. She did not have to work. He wanted her to be a stay at home mom but she wanted to work. They compromised.she could work from home. Her cases had to be back check grounds nothing dangerous . no James bond stuf he said. "Try and stop me!"he said. "They are just being carefull. "She said. " I'm not reassured yet Tessa pod!" he said. "I tried. Don't panic brad! "She said. "I am coming to the house. We can go to gloria's house from there together. "He said. "I knew that. Brad your going to stay calm right?"she said. "Yes I am. "He said. "Ok ! I will see you soon. I love you!"She said. "I love you!"he said.
While she teased him over his protective nature and his less then macho narure,she knew that there was nothing he would not do to protect her and there kids. She knew if they were in danger ,no threat stood a chance against him.
While she would never admit it,she was spooked. She knew that the detectives were not convinced that the threat was over and neither was she.

"The party"

I stil could not believe I was hear! When I was first invited,I was not seriously considering attending. Julie had graduated from bible college. Her parents hosted a graduation party at there home. They invited all of the church to attend. I had not planed to attend until she asked me personally."
"Tim! Will you be coming?"she asked."I am not sure! " I answered ."I would like you to come."she told him.
I felt out of place. I mostly spoke to church members I knew including the church janitor. I had not even seen Julie.
Julie and I had a bit of a complex relationship. We were very different.we had a different life experience. I was a thirty four year old man. I was a businessman . I ran a smal business witch focused on real estate and antiques. "
Julie was twenty years old. She just graduated from an independent fundimentle Baptist college. We knew each other sence her family started attending abiding Grace Baptist church. She was sixteen at the time. We had not really said much to each other at the time. We had no reason to. When she went of to bible college it all changed. We became friends.
I found myself interested in her beyond a friendships. She had dated a little while at school. There was one man I was prety sure she would marry but they broke up. She explained that she just did not feel that it was God"s will for them to be together. I figured she would date someone else.i liked her,i figured
She would never have those feelings for me. That was fine. 
During the week. I gave it a lot of thought. I decided that I would throw caution to the wind and ask her out. Now that I am hear I had doubts. I very much wanted to go though with it. I decided to go though with it. "
Finaly I saw her. I went over to her.she smiled at me. 'There you are! I had not seen you.for a moment I wondered if you were going to play hookie !'she Said to me.
I laughed. I told her that I would not miss it for any thing. She was glad to hear that. Her reaction was not what I expected. While I knew She wanted me hear. It seemed that she realy did want  me hear.
"Look Jules when things die down I would like to talk to you!"I told her. She seemed puzzled. She was not expecting that. "Of course!"she replied.
I had no idea if she suspected what I wanted to talk to her about. I was nervous about it. Now I was committed. I could ways ask her her opinion of chess but I think she would know that was not what I intended to talk to her about. 
Finally things started to die down. People started to leave. I hoped that I could talk to her soon. I was getting more and more nervous . I was losing my nurve.
I looked for her. Then I found her.she smiled.  " there you are!" she said. I smiled."so what did you want to talk about?"she asked.
I probably looked really nervous. I tried to remain calm. That was not as easy as it sounded.
"Look I was wondering if we could go out sometime . for dinner perhaps? " I said. She steamed surprised for a split seconds. Then she smiled. "Are you asking me out on a date ?"she asked.
If I was not nervous before, I definently was now. " yes I think I am!"I replied. She smiled. "Of course I would love to!" she said.
I was relieved and happy at the same time. I was not sure I had heard it right. I asked her if I had heared her right.she laughed and said that I  had.        I wished I knew what she was thinking.I suspected she liked me but I knew I could be way off gourd it could just be me engaging in wishful thinking.
I later learned that she had like me. It seams that she liked me before I liked her. She wondered why I had not asked her out earlier.
When I went home that night,I wondered was this the beginning of a New era. I had no idea.it felt like things were different. I felt like things were about to change. I would be right.
  This was the beginning of the relationship between myself and my future wife. This was how it started .it was not always an easy road. This is how it started.

Case of the next door neighbor (stay at home mom)

Chapter two
Tessi and her husband when they heard a noise. "Its coming from Ron and becca's house. " she said. He got out his gun. "Stay hear!"her husband  said.
Tess understood his need to protect her. It was not always easy. Tessi had served in the us military.He  was a cpa who flunked out of boy scouts. She had no doubt that in a pinch no one could get pass him if they threatened her or there children.
He went stelthaly to the home of there neighbors.his gun was branded. He was ready for anything. He went inside.
Tes called 911. She told the dispatcher that they heard possible gun schots at the home of Ron and Rebecca Kent. She gave as much details as she could remember.
Tes's husband entered the home. He saw a man on the ground dead. Becca was leaning over his corpse. She had a gun.
The man was shot in the head. He was careful not to interfere with any evidence.  Becca was in shock. He saw in the other room. Ron was bleeding.he had been stabbed but the wound looked superficial.
Ron started to tell his story. "Lets wait for the police!" the husband said. "Ok!"Ron said.
The husband checked upstairs. The kids were Stil asleep. They had slept though it. The police and ambulance arrived at the home. Not long after.
The body was looked at. The crime scene officials got right to work.
The witness were taken to separate rooms. The police knew almost nothing. Just that a man was dead.
"Please Mrs Kent tell me what happened?" detective Warren asked. "We had gone to bed. I went downstairs to use the rest room. I heard a noise. I grabed a gun we keep in a safe in the closet. I took it out. He charged me so I shot him " she declared.
"You have never seen this man before in your life?" the detective asked. "No never!"she answered. "You have no idea why he came hear?"the detective asked. "No I don't. "She said.
"Beck told me she was going down stairs. She. Went.next thing I knew I heard the gun shot. I went down stairs and saw her hovering over the body. She told me he attacked her so she shot him!" Ron said.
"You did not see her shot him ?"detective brigs asked. "No I did not.I came at the tail end. "He said.
"What did she tell you about it?"the detective asked. "She was stunned. She did get out that he lunged at her. She said she had no choice!"he said. "She said those exact words?"the detective asked. "Yes or something like that.
"She said something to that affect?' The detective asked. "Yes she did!"he said. "Who owned the gun?"he asked. "It is in my naime. We have both passedback ground checks. "Ron said. "Have you ever been robed before?"the detective asked. "No!"he said.
Tess' husband was interviewed.he told how he heard the shot. They wanted the precise Times. They asked his occupation. They als asked how well he knew the Kent's. He explained that they just moved in a mounth earlier.
"So were they a happy couple ?"the detective asked. "As far as I could tell. They were very quiet. They kept to themselves. "He explained.
Tess was interviewed as well as others neighbors. Tessi and her husband tried to get some sleep.

  The next day Tess got a knock at th door."earnie hi!"she said."I heard you have not completed the vetting of the Sudan relief group?"earnie said. "It is taking longer then I anticipated. I want to be the rough!"she said. "I don't understand. The people of south Sudan need our help. "The older man said.
"I understand but I can't rush this. "She said. "Is there a problem?" he asked. "I can't discuss It! " she said. "Alright. "He said.
The scene next door was Stil chaotic.she wished she could be a fly on the wall. She figured she would find out eventually.

Blind date part six

Just after Matt left,abby's phone went off. She wondered if maybe it was may. She checked the caller I'd. It was pastor Madelyn.She was her mentor.
"Hi pastor !"she said."look I  hate to do this to you on short notice but my aunt is In the hosital. She is not doing well and she lives in Chicago. Can you conduct the service and preach on Sunday? I assume you have the lectionary and you can look at my notes?"she said.
"Yes if course. No problem!"Abby said."are you ok? You seam off?"the older lady said. "No I'm fine. "She said.
"Well I really appreciate this. This is a huge help!"she said."no problem. I do enjoy preaching. "Abby said. "I appreciate this !"she said. "No problem. You have been a big help to me. I am happy to help!" she said. "Great! "She said.
Mat went right home after being at abby's .weird he thought he had never been inside hee apartment before. On the ride home he had sports radio on.he switched it to a hmmm CD. It was a short drive back to the parsnege.
He went back inside. "Where did you go?" his dad asked. "Oh I had something I had to take care off!"mat said. "I had something I wanted to ask you. "His dad said. "Ok!"he said."mom and I want to take the weekend off . go away on an impromptu get away. I was hoping you could take the services. I know it is on short notice. "He said.
"No I would love to. Not a problem !"he said. "Great! Mom hoped you would !" his dad said .his mom came in. "Are we a go?"his wife asked. "We are a go!"his dad answered. "Any reason for this get away?"mat asked. He did not really get an answer.
Matt realised that this was harder then he thought. He felt out of shorts.this was the worst time to prepare a surmon. He Sat with a blank peace of paper at his desk.
"How is it coming?"his sister Kathy asked. "I have the note paper !"he said."that US a start !"she said. "I might have to go to surmon suggestions .com !"he said ."I really hope your kidding!"she said. "So am I!"he said.
"What is the problem?"she asked. "I am more persuaded then I have ever been . I have made the faith my own. Yet recent events could call that into doubt!"he said.
"There is always push back. I am note sure this was a falling away just stumble. One you corrected. "She said. "When it said "be instant in season out of season I never expected me to be out of season. " he said.
"I think we all struggle with that. There are road signs warning. It I s besT to stop and head them. Search my God and know my thoughts I pray!"she said .
"See if There may be any wicked way in me ok!"he said. "You will figure it out or surnon ideas.com will!"she said."funny!"he said. "I thought so!"she said.
"So why is mom and dad being so cryptic. Just going on a weekend off is not like them. "He said.
"Msyby they just need to get away."Kathy said. She had a theory but didn't want to express it. "The last time they did this was when she found out she was having Philip. "He said.
"I remember! You don't think .."he said. "You never know!"she said. "I should get back to this. " he said. She left.
Abby looked over the lectionary. The theme that week was on the ephopian eunic. "Ok I can do this!"she thought. She decided to go on diversity,inclusiveness. Don't leave anyone out. Look for optunity to share God's Grace. She let the ideas flow and wrote them down.
"How it coming ?"her roomate Jill asked. "Very good. It is the ephopian eunuc.I imagine if mat were preaching it,he would talk about how he was reading Isaiah. How he used Isaiah and preached the gospel. He would go on about how Jesus is clearly revealed in the old testament. " Abby said.
"Instead your going to preach about how we are to be inusive and accept everyone. Diversity is beutufull and so on!"Jill said. "I think that diversity and acceptance is clearly seen in this passage!"she answered.

"Do you deny that Christ is portrayed in the old testament?"Jill asked."no but I don't need to emphasize it. "She said. "Because it is very. Congregational of you!"Jill said. "Some might object to that emphises.some do disagre that Christ is depicted In isaiah. I disagree. Unity is a command also "she said.
"Philip shows him Christ from Isaiah. Everyone knows your a literalist. Just explain that this from your perspective!"she said.
"I want the gospel message to be edifying .helpful for every day life. Acepting others is a a worhwild goal. " she told her. "Yes it is !"Jill said.
Both got there Simon's written. Now it was time for them to deliver them. Were they ready.
They were going to separate ways. Was it forever? Would they end up together?

Stay at home mom
The case of the next door neighbor.
Teresa graves. nickname tesie is a stay at home mom. She has four kids.her oldest is eight ,her youngest a year old and she has one on the way. While some would say her life is boring. She does not have to find excitement,excitement finds her.
  She always held her Tuesday play date. She had baked cookies. Her best friend Clare and her close friend rylie brought other baked goods.they had everything set up.
Then the guest started to arrive. The first was becca. Becka was New in town. She had just moved next door. Tesie had tried to befriend her.
"Hi I'm glad you came !"Tesie said. Becka had a young two year old and one on the way."thanks! "She said. She was very shy and reserve. "This is Becka and her daughter moya. This is Clare and rylie.Clare is extremely silly!"tess said.
"It s not totally true mostly but not totally "She said. Everyone laughed except for the New comer she was very serious. Then several other ladies came in.
All of the ladies had young children. There husbands were at work. They were old members of an independent Baptist church. While there was no edict against women working in I.f.b but many did not.
Becka seemed uncomfortable. Out of place. They tried to include Her whenever they could. She talked a little bit.
"Where did you live before you moved hear?" Clare asked."I grew up in Indiana. We move hear from Iowa?"she said."what brought you hear?"ry asked."my husband's businessm. He works for edwel cooperation." she said. "I see !"one if the other mom said.
She seemed uncomfortable opening up . she tried to answer there questioned. Tessie tries to calm the other ladies down. Most of them were open books but that did not mean that everyone else had to. She respected other people's privacy. She wanted everyone to feel comfortable.
The get togethers were very informal.there were a time for the children who were not yet in school while the moms talked . it Was a time where moms could interact.
After a while things started to die down. They began to clean up. Then the ladies bagan to gather up there kids and begin to leave.
"Thank you for inviting me!"Becka said."I hope you will come again. Mayby you and your husband could come for supper!"tess said."I Will mention it to him  "she said. Then she left..
After a while everything died down. Tessi was alone.her kids were all home schooled. She checked on there progress. Then she went down in the basement. She went inside.
She had an office.she used her cell phone to open the door. The door opened. After a few minutes there was a knock at the door. It was pastor Ron Darren.
"So ! You said it was urgent?"the pastor asked."the Sudan relief fund spears to be ligit . 97 percent of raised funds is going to the people of Sudan and south Sudan. Three books check out!"she said
"I hear a but coming on!"he said." everywhere the s.r.f is there has bean increased violence. Where they go guns and other  minunition seams to be show up. I am gusing they don't use any funds from the think charity to ship the weapons. I  they are moonlighting. "She told him.
"Its unthinkable. A charity used as a front to sell guns to terrorist or rebels."he said. "Right now I can't prove any of it. I think it is a distinct possibility. I am going to do some more diging. "She said.
"I appreciate that. "The pastor said. " do you know anything about becca Grant and her family?"she asked."they seam like a nice couple. Very quiet,reserve. Mr. Grant is not quite as reserve. She seams even more so."he said.
"I got that same impresson !"she said."we will keep on being kind. Hopufully we can build a bridge with them!"the pastor said. She hopped he was right.
That night tesi and her husband were in bed.her husband had fallen asleep.tess had not. Her mind was racing.from family and church to her detective work and becca. Then they heard a noise. It sounded like a gunshot. It was coming from the home of Ron and becca Grant.

Blind date part four

Matt could not believe how fast life Had gone. Two weeks ago he knew nothing about Abby. Having met her,his life seemed to have changed. They were so different. Could they make it work? Another question was should he try.
He had been on two dates with her.he really enjoyed his time with her. He had been happy. When he got up he  found he was so confused. He had no idea what to do.
He knocked on Kathy's door. "You know you have been out for three houers?"Kathy asked him in jest."I had not planned it that way Kath. "He told her.
"I have not see you like this?"she said. "I really like it. I know the heart is deceitful among all things and despritly wicked. I am so torn right now. I am not sure what to do. I fear that we may be unequally yoked. Perhaps I should just walk away. I just don't know!" he told her.
"Strive to be close with the Lord. Stay in his word. Don't stay away from him. " she told him.
Abby was very happy when she got home. She was all smiles when she walked in. "It went well I take itmate asked. "It went very well! I can't believe it! "Abby told her. "Do you think that there is a future for you two?" she asked. "I hope so. I want there to be. I really do!"she said.
"You don't mind that he is a king James fundy ?"she asked. "He is very reasonable person. He is strict but he does not fit the stereotype. He is not angry.he is cheerfull about it. It I'd who he is not what he believes. I appreciate that."she told her.
He took his sisters advice. He spent a lot of Time in the bible and in prayer. During the week ,he did not talk to Abby. He was buisy with work and his duties in the church.
He felt he should be apart for a bit.he did not want to close the door with her. He was not ready to go though that door. He decided it was ok to wait. There was no need to hury. He decided to wait .
Abby had been very happy when she went to bed that night. She decided to wait for mat to call her. She felt that it was important to put the ball back into his court. It was hard. She decided to be patcient.  She decided not to call him but to wait.
Friday night .
"So you going to go out with Abby tomorrow?" Kathy asked."I am thinking about it. I have not talk to her yet. She might have plans. "He said.

He dialed her number. He was nervous as he dialed." hay matie! I wondered if you were going to call!"she said. "Are you available tomorrow? Wreather is  supposed to be good?" I was thinking about a picnick?" he asked .
"That would be great! I would love to!"she said. "1:30? Ok?"She asked."sounds good! I Will see you then!"he said ."sounds great!"She said .
Like he did the last time,he picked her up. She wanted to ware pants but decided to ware a skirt.she wore a Gray sweater and Gray skirt.her hair was In a pony tail.she wore flip flops.
His car was plane. He only had one bumper sticker.it said I love beagles.he had sports radio on. He turned on a CD of hyims but turned it down.
" so I figured you would have a bunch of bumper stickers?"she asked. "Your car has quite a few. U.cc ,United day and a few orthers. Bumper stickers is not really my thing. "He said.
"I missed you!"she said."I missed you. I was kept prety buisy. "He said "I understand. I am trying to juggle work and school and church. I am glad we can get together today."she said. "So am I!"he said.
The car parked near a park. The Two of them set up the blanket. They got everything set up. They Sat down. "So how many brothers and sisters do you have? I realised I had not asked!"she said."I have three sisters and two brothers! "He said.
"Oh wow! You sure your not quiverfull!"she said in a jokingly manner. "I knew you we're going to say something like that!"he said. "Are you the oldest?" she asked. "I am The oldest. How Manny siblings do you have?"he asked. "Two sisters and a brother. I am the second oldest."she said.
"Your not too far off from being quiverfull !"he said. "I think four is the cut off!"she said. "oh ok!"he said.they both laughed.
"Are you close to your family,"she asked."yes . my parents and I are very close. My sister Kathy who is two years younger then I is the one is I am closest with. I am 20 and my youngest brother is two. "He said.
"That Is quite an age range!"she said "it is. What is the age range of your siblings?"he asked "I am 21.my brother is 25. My sister is 16 and my youngest sister is 14." she said.
"So ! Has your dad always been a pastor?"she asked."yes! He started a church a year before I was born. We stayed there until I was six. He started another church. Then he started the one we are at now. This one is my favorite."he said.
"Your dad likes to start churches?"she asked."yes. All of his churches were plants. He tries to start a church in an area with little independent Baptist churches and start one. He tries to get the church established and in a good financial situation and turns it over to strong dec On bored then moves on and does it again."she said.
"Is that you want to do"?she asked."I do. I love the idea. The churches we have been at are made of first and generation Christians."he said.
"My denomination works differently.we are assigned to the churches we pastor. " she said.
"So! How did you come to be interested in becoming a minister?"he asked. "I attended church before I was born. My mother is a fith generation congrugationalest. That what she says. My dad was from a Baptist background but my mom won the debate of where to go to church.  Being one of the few teens there I was very involved in the church. When I was 14 I decided I wanted to be a minister. "She said.
"Have you preached?"he asked."yes many times. I assume you have preached?"She asked."yes I have. "He said.
"So you don't believe women should be pastors?"she asked."well it not that I don't believe in women pastor,the bible teaches that leadership is to be male. Any time qualifications are given such as in first Timothy ,both bishops and deacons are to be male. "He said.
"Is that a command or an example? Is is that man must only be bishop and deacons or did they just happen to be male? It was a different time!"she said."God does not change.his plan with feeling with mankind has always included male leadership. Women have always played a vital role in God's plan. Not leadership. "He said.
"You believe this is an important issue?"she asked. "As a fundimentilest,we believe In the fundimentles of the faith. We believe in taking the bible literally. God said it,that settles it."he said.
"I see! "She said . "so Will you come hear me preach some time?"he asked."so is that your tactic?flirt and convert?"she asked."oh no! My flirting is genuine."he said. "I know! I will come sometime.Will you come when I preach?" she asked."yes I will be in the back. "He said. "Ok!"she said.
"Your different then I preceve fundimentest.your not critical. You are happy. Your not condescending or mean. " she said.
"Christianity does not exist to oppress. It exist to free. The bible makes me happy. Fundimentism is freeing at least it Is supposed to be."
He said.
They realized that they had a lot of differences. They Had a lot to work though. They ended up spending most of the day together as was there custome. They then packed up. They headed for the car.
She took his hand.he seemed a bit reluctant. He was unsure about physical contact. He decided to go for it. He took her hand. They walked to the car.
They drove to her house.they said there good byes. Mat was left more and more confused. Abby really liked him. She found him to be kind. She hoped that they could make it work but could they.

Blind date part three

Mat against his better judgement, agreed to be set up on a blind date. The date was not at all what he expected. She was studying to be a minister at a college geerd to mainline denomination. She was nice but she was all wrong for him.
He planed on moving on. The date would be a distant memory.
His family were curious how the date went .he was fairly criptic about it. The family did not press him about it.
Abby was surprised how much she enjoyed the date. In many ways he and her were poler opposites. She found her conversations with him to be very stimulating.
She regretted the fact that she would probably never seen him again. She figured that she would get over it.she would move on. Things happen. That how it was.
He tried to forget about her. The more he tried not to think about her the more he did. It was driving him crazy. A week had gone by. Not a moment went By where she was not in his thoughts.
One day he decided to call her. He was shocked that He was even considering this. Finaly he decided to throw caution to the wind and call her.
He took out his phone and dialed the number. As he called, he got really nervous. It rung a few times then she picked form
Abby thought about him.she considered calling him but decided not to. She was reeding when her cell phone rang. She was shocked when she saw who it was.
She answered it. "Hello!"She said."Abby?"Matt said. "Mat? Hi I never expected to hear from you! "She said ."would you like to go out for ice cream .my treat?"he asked.
"I would. "She said. "Can you be ready in twenty minutes?"he asked. "Yea! Sure!"She said. "I Wil pick you up?"he asked . "I am on pear street. "She said. "Great !see you then!"she said.
Abby could not believe that she had Saud yes. He quickly changed. She wore a gray t shirt and pink skirt. Se decided not to ware pants Sense fundes would not keen on that.
She could not believe this was happening. She was nervous and excited at the same time. She decided that this was a good thing.
He did not know what to tell his parents.  He told them that he was going out for ice cream. He did not go into more details. Kathy guessed.
He got into the car and drove off. He found her house. She saw his csr and came out. He got in. He smiled when he saw her.
"Its reverend Abby!"he said. "Please tell me your not going to become your pet name for me!"she said ."there is a good chance it will. "He said ."I figured!"she said.
"Your are the first female minister form a mainline denomination ever in my car!"He said."your car did not exploded. "She said. "No ! It has not!"he said.
At the ice cream place, she got a choloate sundae with choloate source.he  got an upside down banana split.
"I am a bit of a chocoholic !"she said."I see that!"he said. "So you never found a date at your college?"she asked. "I have been on a few dates but I did not really connect with any of them. What about you?" he asked.
"There was four guys at the college. One is 54 years old,the other is 52,another is a science fiction fan who made his own models of every star trek and star wars ship and made some of his own. The other guy was really creepy.at my church the youngest man is filthy years old!"she said.
"I see. I figure you volunter for peace corps and United way?"he asked. "Yes. I was in Zambia last summer. You spent the Sumer at a fundementilist camp for kids."she said.
"Yes I did. " he said " you preached."she asked."yes my dad has me fill in a lot. I teach Sunday school."she said." you read a lot?"she asked."I do. I don't read a lot of contempary writers. I like David cloud. "He said.

."he said. "It's classic !"she said. "Its fine as long as you don't form you form your theology on it witch most do. "He said.
"It has been overdone. I will agree. You like c.s Lewis ?"she asked. "As a fiction writer yes . non fiction so so. What writers do you like?"he asked.
"Non fiction some of Bruce madsker,Ben Worthington the third. Rob bell on occasion,Tony compolo,Brian McLaren. Fiction Jane Austen,I like modern and vampires"she said.
"Oh my. I need to expand your literary knowledge. "He said. "So no tv. You listen to the radio?"she asked. "Mostly sports. I listen to hyims on CD!"he said. "I knew you were a sport guy. I listen to top 40 0r jaz."she said.

"We have very little in comon!"he said. "We do. In some ways we are polar opposites. "She said. "I know that. "He said.
"So do you want kids?"she asked. "Yes definitely! You?"he asked."yes I do. I would like to have three or four. At least one boy,one girl. I imagine your one of those quiverfull families?"she asked. "No. I am not against big families I do not quite fit the ideology of the quiverfull movement. "He said."I see! Well that is good to know. "She said.
He found her easy to talk to. He enjoyed being around her. Like the last date they spent several hovers just talking.
" so I am not quite someone you bring home to your parents. Well at least not your parents!"she said. "I think they will like you. "He said. She smiled.she was happy that he was oppen to having her over to his parent's house.
"Well it is getting late. We shoud probably head back!" he said. "Yea we probably should!"she said. They went to the car.
"So where do we go from hear,"he asked. "Where do you want to go from hear?"she asked. "I am not sure. We have our differences but I really like you. "He said. She smiled. He really liked her smile. "I really like you!"she said. "Lets take it slow but if your agreed I would like you to see you again!"he said. "I am very agreed with that. "She said.

They said there goodbyes. He watched her go. It was so odd. He had not remembered having this Much fun in a long time. He was more confused then he was before. Was this the beginning of something?
She was happy about the date. The day had been prety mundane. The date changed everything. She was so excited. She could not wait to see him again.

Blind date

Earl was a young man. He was a bit esentric. He was well liked. He was known for his love of Jesus. He was a kind man. He knew two man who were close friends of his. They were from two different circles to which he was involved with. He decided that these two friends would be perfect for each other.
Both were a bit reluctant. After several prodding they both agree. They a range to meat at a restaurant near by. They arranged to meat each other at the restaurant. They agreed to be there around four thirty.
Ben was a junior in college. He was attending a bible college he was training to be a pastor. He worked a job part time at a hotel. That was how he knew earl. Earl worked there as well.
Abby was a bible school student as well. She went to a different bible college then he did. She worked at a cofee shop he frequented.
He was really nervous.he was surprised that he was doing this.he considered backing out but decided that at this point it was too late. At least that was he thought. He decided that it was one night. That was not a lot of pressure.
Abby was surprised that she went along with it. Earl really wanted her to do this. She kinda did this to humor him. She hoped that she would be presently surprised. She hoped that it would turn out ok.
Mat had no idea what to ware. He decided to not ware a dress shirt and tie.he did think about it but decided against it. He put on a red polo shirt and khaki pants.
He arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before she arrived. They had made reservations. They seated him.  After a couple minutes He saw a young lady heading towards him.she was walking with a waiter.she was led to the table where he was. He got up. He extended his hand and she shock it.
"Helo I'm mat!" he said. "Hi I'm Abby!"she said. She had Brown hair. She wore a white sweater and blue blouse and black skirt and flip flops.she was taken a back by his atire. She Sat down.
"I understand that you are in seminary?"she asked."oh no! I am in bible college. Stil In the under graduate program. "  he said.
"Oh ok. I did not realize that!" she said."I am a junior."he said."are you going for m div?"She aBsked."I am not planning to. A lot of churches I would be looking to pastor do not require it. I am a good student but I have had to push myself. I do not want to think about masters level courses."he said.
She was very taken aback.she was not expecting this. He was not quite what she expected.
"I understand that you area bible school student?"he asked. "I graduated from college.I am in seminary!"she declared. "Your studying to be a minister?" he asked."yes. I am!"she answered.
He got really nervous. What had earl gotten him into. He thought oh two studying the bible. That might make a good match. He was not sure how to handle this.a part of him wanted to get up and go right now.
It started to make sense to her . he was probably a independent fundimentle Baptist. She figured that he was probably k.j.v.that explains his dress.
"What school do you attend?"she asked "gospel Baptist college!"he said."oh! Your one of those! "She said."what school do you attend?"he asked. 
"Aubern theological !"she said."oh!"he said."we are not what either of us expected are we?" she asked."no we are not!"he said .
"Earl ment well!"she said."he did."he said. Things got quiet for a few seconds. Both began to suspect that the date was for all intense and purposes for over.
"So do you believe that the bible is literal. Is it the word of God or does it nearly contain the word of God?"he said. "It is the word of God. I am a literalist. " she said. He wanted to say except on the role of women but did not.
"The flood literal?"he asked. "I believe it was. " she said ."creation ?"he asked.she smiled."um I believed God created created the universe. I am not sure if it fiet creation or though some evolutionary process. " she said.
"Your killing me abb!"he said."so I assume your k.j.v only?"she asked."no but I only use the king James. The textus rwceptis is more reliable then Alexandrian texts. "She said. "Your in the minority on this. "She said."I realize that. The text found after 1611 have muddied the waters not made them clear. God promised to preserve his word. I doubt that was only after 1945. "He told her.
"God has preserved his word. There has been the word of God from the first century until now. The discovery off new manuscripts does not negate that. "She told him.
"I disagre. I think it is very important. Acuracy is the key.you don't want to get it wrong. "He said.
"So I assume no k love or u2 witch I'd very sad!"she said."your a u 2 fan ?"he said."yes I am. I have taken a lot of heat for it"she said. "I am sure ! "He said
"I assune no tv?"she asked."no I had one as a kid. We got rid of it. "He said
."you like camping ?"she asked."I do ! You?"he asked."yes I do. You snow mobile?"she asked."I do!"he said.
They were there at the restaurant for a few hours. They were told that it was closing soon. "I will cover the Bill!"mat said."you don't have to. "She said. "I want you!"he said.
As they left the restaurant,they both got quiet. They knew that would probably never see each orther again.neither knew how to end tonight. Neither knew what to say.
"Well It was nice to meet you."she said."same hear.  "He said. "Take care of yourself!"she said. "You too!"he said.
They started to go there separate ways probably forever. He felt a sense of sadness. He started to goto his car but he stoped. "Abb! Can I have your phone number?"he asked.she took out a pen and paper and wrote it down. She got hears.then they left.
He drove for a bit.then he went home.he knew everyone would want to know how it went.he really did not want to talk about it right now right now he needed time to sort it all out.
